WEASA to contribute to European Commission’s public consultation

Based on experience gathered during WEASA 2017, the College of Europe Natolin will be joining the European Commission’s public consultation on fake news and online disinformation, aiming to limit and combat the spread of fake news! We are currently in talks with our experts and alumni alike, working hard to formulate a common stance on this matter and fill out the official questionnaire  in the next few weeks.

WEASA 2017 programme included several sessions on disinformation, fake news, and what is the best way to combat such phenomena. We became familiar  with lectures and analysis presented by experts from NGOs, universities, and think-tanks alike last summer and certainly plan to explore this topic further during this year’s summer academy as well!
